KIDS
CURRICULUM

The preschool, elementary, and 5th Grade ministries are all on a curriculum plan that walks through the entire Bible. Bible stories, scripture memory, and worship are three components children will experience each week. In Littles Ministry, Walkers through Two and Three’s have a lesson each week that teaches them the love God has for them through Bible stories, songs, and simple crafts.

KIDS
SAFETY

The two most important goals each Sunday are teaching kids about Jesus and keeping them safe. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus issues a stern warning for not protecting these especially vulnerable young souls and we take this responsibility very seriously. All those helping with kids or students are first screened through an application, comprehensive background check, and reference checks. Volunteers also attend mandatory training where we they agree to abide by the Bayou City Child Protection Policy. We provide updated training annually and require a new background check every two years. We are continuously working to ensure facilities are safe and secure and that there are volunteers who continuously monitor and report any unsafe conditions.
