Curtis Jones – Pastor
Curtis Jones - Pastor
Curtis Jones was born and raised in Springfield, Missouri. He cut his spiritual teeth in a small country church where, on some Sundays, the congregation was made up of just three or four families. At the age of 17, Curtis began to sense God calling him to a life of ministry. Recognizing this call on his life, his pastor would arrange for Curtis to preach at churches in the area that needed ministers to fill in on Sunday mornings. God began shaping and refining his spiritual gifts, affirming his call, and placing within him a heart for preaching, teaching and leading. After graduating from Houston Baptist University he served churches and ministries in Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Northeast England.
In 2011, Curtis, his wife Amanda, and 60 friends joined together to start Bayou City Fellowship. BCF is committed to honoring God by bringing the gospel, hope and love to those who need it most.
Curtis and Amanda live in Houston with their two children, Jackson and Annabeth.

Alicia Divers – Director of Mobilization
Alicia Divers - Director of Mobilization
Alicia Divers is a Texas original, but a world traveler (16 countries) in between. After spending two years in India working in the slums post-college, she moved to California for the last four years. Basking in the Southern California sunshine, she pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Intercultural Studies and split her occupational time there between university project coordinating and coffee slinging barista-ing. Her time away deepened her natural love for all things related to people, culture, and relationship-building. Alicia accepted this position as Director of Mobilization and recently relocated in July. Here she is able to blend her academic and personal giftings for cross-cultural leadership in the rich ethnically diverse Bayou City and across the nations.
