Bayou City Students desires to offer a place where students can come worship, experience community, and be mobilized to live a life on mission. Students are integrated into the ministry and service of Bayou City Fellowship. By providing students with the opportunity to discover, experience, explore, and embrace faith, we believe they will become who God has designed them to be.
JUNIOR HIGH STUDENTS
Sunday Morning Essentials
Junior High Students interact with the Scriptures, each other, and their leaders as they apply the truths of Jesus to their lives. Students are taught the Scriptures in a short, large group setting and then break out into small groups to connect and process what they have been taught. All 6-8th graders meet on the porch of the Worship Center before the 9:45am service and then walk with their leaders to their rooms.
Junior High Students are poured into by High School Students during the first Wednesday of the month. They connect with their peers and see what it looks like to follow Jesus through their years to come.
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Sunday Morning Core Groups
High School Students connect on Sunday mornings with adult leaders and peers in their grade level to build friendships, examine the Scriptures, and pray together. We use the church’s Spring Community Group's curriculum. This helps serve as discussion points between you and your student. All 9-12th graders meet on the porch of the Worship Center before the 9:45am service and then walk with their leaders to their rooms.
Refuge is a mid-week gathering where students are safe to ask hard faith questions and be known. Students worship, study the Scriptures, and make memories with their peers and leaders.
High School Students are empowered to lead their peers and younger brothers and sisters by sharing their testimonies, leading discussion groups and games, and sharing the truths of the Scriptures.
Please visit us at the Students table on Sundays for campus specific Bible studies and activities.
