The Property Maintenance Technician supports the Property and Staff of Bayou City Fellowship by providing general facilities maintenance services, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence and professionalism. The maintenance technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the facility, equipment and vehicles according to safety, preventative and proactive maintenance systems. This position performs routine building maintenance tasks throughout our three campuses. The Property Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Property Maintenance Manager.


  • Ability to maintain positive, professional relationships and interactions with members and coworkers.
  • Travel between three church campuses as necessary to perform maintenance or move supplies or equipment.
  • Janitorial functions that include: sweeping, general cleaning, painting, power-washing, changing light bulbs, lifting, small repair projects, and landscaping maintenance.
  • Utilize tools provided on the property to maintain high level of property standards.
  • Assist the Property Maintenance Manager and Housekeeping staff with maintaining a high level of property standards.
  • Process, complete, and respond to work orders assigned by the Property Maintenance Manager.
  • Manage recurring general maintenance items or other assigned tasks.
  • Organize and maintain assigned tools and supplies.


  • Work at assigned campus during services and events to assist in the smooth operation of the facility.
  • Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

  • High School Diploma or GED
