+Bayou City Nights: August 12, 13, & 14: We are taking our first VBS on the road! Each night we will gather from 6-8 pm to share the message of Jesus to children 3 years old – 5th grade. We are encouraging all of our church families including students to participate. Please register online at: bayoucityfellowship.com/bayou-city-nights/. This is a free event to the community of Spring Branch and we need everyone’s help to make it happen. So far, we only have 50 people registered. We need several hundred more of you to hop online and register!
+Global Outreach Team to East Asia: We will be sending a team to East Asia to teach ESL October 4 -14th. Applications and specific details will beavailable at the Global and City Outreach table this Sunday. You can also email Alicia@bayoucityfellowship.com for questions and more information. Applications are due no later than Sunday, August 19th. There is limited availability- so sign-up quickly to reserve your spot. There will be two quick informational meetings next Sunday, July 29th immediately following the 9:15 and 11:00 services (meet at the couches behind the Global and City Outreach table) for those that are interested in finding out more information.

+BCF Kids Volunteer Training: The next volunteer training is this Sunday, July 22, immediately after the 11:00 service in the Littles area. All new volunteersmust attend this training before you can serve in the Kids’ Ministry. We are gearing up for our Fall schedule and need some new faces to love on our kids.

+Ramadan 2012- Starting July 20th, Muslims around the world will begin a strictfast from sunrise to sundown for the next 40 days. There is a 40-day prayer guide at the Global and City Outreach table if you would like to join in praying for the 1.5 billion Muslims around the world.

+Summer Bible Study: Our next women’s study group starts Monday, July 23rd! Here’s a little info for starters. “For Women Only” by Shaunti Feldhahn- Putting how you relate to your husband under the searchlight of God’s Word. July 23-August 27 on Mondays from 7:00pm-9:00pm. Located north of Hwy 290 in Cypress. Led by Crista Merrell, Women’s Pastor at BCF and reckless lover of the Heart and Word of God. Besides her marriage and her children, Crista’s passion is helping ladies identify and chase after God’s calling in their lives. She has been married to Brian for 13 years and has 5 children.
